This charming chalet plays the happy wanderer and edelweiss tunes. The hour is struck on a gong as the cuckoo also calls out his call and the music is played as cuckoo calls once on the half hour. It has nice proportions and is beautifully colored. As the band plays the dancers twirl on the balcony. Details in this piece include bright accents. The roof has individually hand-laid shingles, and the dial, hands, and bird are all wood. This "Musicians/Dancers" cuckoo clock is a Regula Exclusive. It is an Original Black Forest Clock.
The clock was made and BY HAND by Black Forest craftsmen the same way they have been for hundreds of years. The bird and dancers move along with the mechanically produced music and cuckoo call. The sound of the bird is produced by two real wooden whistles and the music box movement is hand made in Switzerland by Cuendet. PRICED AT $895.00 NEW PRICE $400.00
